Shikha Mohan to lead Ujjwal
A preschool for the underprivileged

Ujjwal is a verticle of REWA that works towards providing pre-schooling facility to children from a marginalised community.

REWA (Raise Empower Women Around), Bangalore is pleased to announce the new addition of Shikha Mohan, an educator with more than 15 years of experience who will be heading REWA's initiative, Ujjwal- a preschool for the underprivileged.

Shikha Mohan, who is the founder and Principal of Touchstone- A Pre-school, has been passionately working in the field of pre-schooling in Bangalore. Now, she will be working with young minds at Ujjwal to build a strong foundation for these underprivileged students.

Started in March 2020, Ujjwal aimed at providing a pre-school foundation to the children of the underprivileged community under the guidance of experts and making them ready for mainstream education. This initiative was launched in collaboration with Touchstone- A Preschool to provide a quality foundation for children from a marginalized community. Since the pandemic has started, classes are being conducted online for the children enrolled under Ujjwal.

Her, experience in pre-schooling and passion for teaching will truly help these children from the underprivileged community to gain a strong foundation and a better future in the mainstream.
