REWA closed down its operation at Purulia Branch, West Bengal

24th September, 2019 NGO REWA (Raise Empower Women Around) has completely closed down its operation in Purulia branch, West Bengal and at present it is functional only at its headquarter in Bangalore.

REWA, a non-governmental organization (NGO) is registered in Bangalore and was founded in Aug 2014 with the aim to work with grassroots initiatives and change the fate of helpless and destitute women. Addressing issues like women rights, women safety, education and health, REWA is a resource center dealing with women’s needs and providing them professional counseling, medical care, micro savings facilities and other services. REWA is also committed to environment protection and conservation. A non profit organization, REWA firmly believes that empowering women is the best way to help societies to develop.

"We have closed all our operations in Purulia and now we are only working at our headquarters in Bangalore. We also want to inform that anyone asking any donation from Purulia in the name of REWA is not part of us. We also want to inform that we have no food products such as PAPAD and PICKLE under the name of REWA" said Abhishek Saran, Founder-Director of REWA

He further said, "However we will continue working from Bangalore and ensure that we continue to empower women"
